Tips from a Military Spouse and Marketing Leader: Charis Mix (POD#066)

Tips from a Military Spouse

In this episode of the Mission43 Podcast, we welcome Charis Mix to the studio. Charis is a military spouse, Mission43 Leaders Fellow, Mission43 PMP graduate, and a dedicated mother who is preparing to reenter the labor market after supporting her family on the home front for the past few years. Listen in as she describes her experiences of living life on active duty and then making the transition back to civilian life here in Idaho. Through candid reflection, she explores themes of self-doubt, identity, and the challenges of reintegration, not only into a new career but also into a new community. Charis then discusses the value of community, both within Mission43 and in Idaho at large, and how programs like the Mission43 Spouse Enrichment Series and PMP certification course provided the tools and support she needed to succeed.

Today, Charis begins a new chapter as a Marketing Coordinator, exemplifying Mission43’s goal to empower veterans and military families as they transition to life in Idaho after the military.
