Having spent his youth exploring the mountains of Valley County, Justin came back to Idaho where an abundance of outdoor opportunities exist. Dan Nelson

Dan was a US Army Green Beret with multiple combat deployments. He is the recipient of the Silver Star, Purple Heart, and multiple other awards. After being injured in combat in Afghanistan (2017) he found Mission43. Dan fully credits the organization for his successful transition to life after the military.
