Mission43 supports military-connected entrepreneurs with a variety of free programs, resources, and opportunities designed to help you succeed at every stage of your business journey. From the fast-paced, hands-on Entrepreneur Course to year-round coaching and events, our programs empower you to turn your ideas into actionable plans. With exclusive opportunities like the Military Track at Boise Entrepreneur Week, including pitch competitions with $10,000 in prizes, Mission43 is your partner in building a thriving business and making meaningful connections within Idaho’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Entrepreneur Course

Mission43 partners with the College of Western Idaho to offer the Entrepreneur Course for members who have a business or nonprofit idea, or already have a business, to take proven concepts and turn them into actionable steps.  

The course is fast-paced, interactive, and will help you challenge yourself. The instructors aren't teaching theory, they are experienced entrepreneurs who take you step-by-step in a way that makes sense. At the conclusion of the twelve sessions, you'll be prepped to pitch your idea in front of your peers and community members, so that you’re ready to pitch in competitions like Boise Entrepreneur Week Military Track.

THE SCHOLARSHIP

Mission43 covers the full cost of the course, with our partners at CWI, valued at over $1,000! We are looking for those who are excited to challenge themselves, test their ideas, and actively contribute to the rest of the cohort.

UPCOMING Course details

We typically offer two sessions a year; spring and fall. Both sessions of cohort participants will be invited to participate in the Mission43 track of Boise Entrepreneur Week events.

  • Virtual: Tuesdays & Thursdays, February 11th - March 13th, 2025

  • In-person at the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse: Tuesdays & Thursdays, September 2nd - October 2nd, 2025

• Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

• Cost: Accepted Mission43 members will be selected and receive a $1000 scholarship to cover the full cost of this course.

Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance

VEA offers a variety of resources to help you at every stage of your entrepreneurial journey, whether you’re refining an idea, launching a business, or scaling operations.

Boise Entrepreneur Week

Mission43 and the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance (VEA) proudly host the exclusive Military Track at Boise Entrepreneur Week (BEW). This track offers a unique opportunity for veterans, service members, and military spouses to integrate into Idaho’s entrepreneurial ecosystem while gaining valuable insights and connections.

The Military Track features a panel discussion led by seasoned business professionals who share practical advice and strategies tailored to the challenges and opportunities faced by military-connected business owners. From navigating funding resources to scaling a business, this interactive session provides actionable takeaways to help participants thrive.

A highlight of the Military Track is the exclusive pitch competition, where participants can showcase their business ideas to a panel of investors and industry leaders. This high-energy competition awards $10,000 in total prizes, with $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second, and $2,000 for third. Whether you’re launching a new venture or seeking resources to grow an existing business, the pitch competition offers a platform to gain funding, visibility, and expert feedback.
