Mission43 has partnered with the College of Western Idaho to offer an exceptional opportunity for military members ranked E5 and above. This scholarship program provides a pathway to earn your Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Management with potential full funding.

What makes this program unique is the accelerated timeline - qualified veterans can complete their degree in as little as one semester thanks to military transfer credits. Your military training and experience count toward your education, significantly reducing the time and cost of earning your degree.

The AAS in Management earned at CWI is fully transferrable into a Bachelor’s of Applied Science at Boise State University as part of their articulation agreement. You could earn your Bachelor’s degree in just another 60 credits.

You are a Mission43 member.

You must currently reside in Idaho to qualify for this scholarship program.

Admitted to CWI

You must be admitted to the College of Western Idaho's Management degree program to participate.

Maintain 2.0 GPA

You must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA throughout the program to retain scholarship eligibility.

How much military experience counts towards the degree?

This is a multi-stage program designed to provide a reliable pathway for high-potential veterans and military spouses.

What if I don't meet the E5 requirement?

The Cybersecurity Academy is for members who are going to be living in Idaho at the start of course in November and who plan on staying in Idaho to work in the information security field after the course is complete.

Can I use my GI Bill with this scholarship?

The first block for all students focuses on GFACT Certification. The second learning block is centered on GSEC Certification. The third block allows students to choose from four certifications to focus on - GSOC, GCLD, GCFE, or GCIH. The GCIH certification is reserved for the top performing cohort members who receive additional approval.

Is this program only for Idaho residents?


What careers does this degree prepare me for?

The process is competitive, we encourage you to be thoughtful and thorough in your responses.

  • Applicants must submit an online application between January 1 - March 1, 2024.

  • Be prepared to articulate your leadership experience and future goals.

  • If selected for advancement, candidates will participate in a formal interview over video conference.
