Mission43 has partnered with the College of Western Idaho to offer an exceptional opportunity for military members ranked E5 and above. This scholarship program provides a pathway to earn your Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Management with potential full funding.

What makes this program unique is the accelerated timeline - qualified veterans can complete their degree in as little as one semester thanks to military transfer credits. Your military training and experience count toward your education, significantly reducing the time and cost of earning your degree.

The AAS in Management earned at CWI is fully transferrable into a Bachelor’s of Applied Science at Boise State University as part of their articulation agreement. You could earn your Bachelor’s degree in just another 60 credits.

You are a Mission43 member.

You must currently reside in Idaho to qualify for this scholarship program.

Admitted to CWI

You must be admitted to the College of Western Idaho's Management degree program to participate.

Maintain 2.0 GPA

You must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA throughout the program to retain scholarship eligibility.

How much military experience counts towards the degree?

Through the American Council on Education (ACE) and a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), eligible members may transfer up to 45 credits based on their military training and experience. Each evaluation is conducted individually, and final credit approval is determined by the College of Western Idaho.

What if I don't meet the E5 requirement?

This specific scholarship and accelerated pathway are designed for members at the rank of E5 or above. If you don’t meet this requirement, we still encourage you to connect with our team to explore other education opportunities available through Mission43.

Can I use my GI Bill with this scholarship?

You may choose to, but you are not required to. This scholarship is designed to help reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket costs, allowing many participants to preserve their GI Bill or other education benefits for future use.

How long does it take to complete the degree?

With eligible transfer credits applied, participants may complete the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Management in as little as one semester. Timing will vary based on your individual credits and course load.

What careers does this degree prepare me for?

The AAS in Management builds on your leadership experience and prepares you for roles in business operations, team leadership, and management across a range of industries. It also creates a pathway to continue your education toward a Bachelor’s degree.
