The goal of the fellowship is to make Idaho a better place because of the collective leadership of this group. By applying to the Mission43 Leaders Fellowship, you could be part of a powerful network that will not only hold you accountable, but will also support you toward success.
Here are three reasons we think you should apply to become a Mission43 Fellow.
1. It’s About What You Are Going to Accomplish In The Future
To be a Fellow, you are a Mission43 member and have some history with the military. Fellows are military spouses who balanced and made career sacrifices for the needs of their family, and they are some of the most accomplished in the group. Fellows also span the officer and enlisted ranks, time in service, and overseas experience. That history played an important role in who they are today. However, the Mission43 Leaders Fellowship is about what you are going to accomplish in the future, and surrounding yourselves with others who care about the same.
2. Fellows Are Owners of Their Future, Not Renters
We are proud of the programming that makes up the Leadership Fellowship, but the real power of the cohort is driven by the quality of each individual. We look for people that are leaders in their personal and professional roles and who value being part of a team. This is about developing relationships, which quickly grow and result in friendships, accountability, and support. At the end of the day, opportunities for growth begin to emerge because of the people and programming of the Fellowship.
3. The Fellowship is Forever
The formal programming of the Fellowship lasts one year, which sets the foundation for looking toward the future. After the year is completed, Fellows take part in “Continuous Learning” opportunities like Non-Profit Board Member Training. They also take on leadership roles, like participating in the selection of the next cohort or leading a team on the Wilderness Immersion. Finally, relationships are strengthened through monthly events where all cohorts have the opportunity to come together. These are communicated through a private chat group and also on an alumni webpage.
