No. All veterans, military spouses and civilian supporters are welcome to join Mission43 and participate in all events and activities. Mission43 is an initiative of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation whose stated purpose is to assist transition from the military into our civilian community. As such, our services target those service members and spouses who are in the “transition window,” but all are welcome.

Yes. If you choose to register as a Mission43 member, you can select “Civilian Supporter.” Our membership is inclusive; inspiration and connection is for everyone.

Yes. Our members have enormously diverse backgrounds, many of which do not include combat deployments or active duty service. We are inclusive of all veterans, active service members, military spouses, first responders, and civilian supporters.

Mission43’s services and events are designed for Idaho residents. We welcome those outside of the state to join and be aware of our programming and interest in transitioning to Idaho, also to share our information to individuals or groups who may benefit or could collaborate with us in the future.

All Mission43 events and program information is posted on the Mission43 website events page. We will also make frequent announcements through social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram), also through emails to our member database.

Mission43 is not a nonprofit organization, we are a fully-funded initiative of the Idaho-based J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation. Mission43 does not seek to raise money for itself, and funding goes toward helping the Idaho military community find employment, education, and engagement opportunities within Idaho.

No. Mission43 is a statewide organization serving throughout the 43rd State. We have recurring engagement, employment, and education events in North Idaho and we will have our first series of events in Eastern Idaho in the Spring of 2020.
