This month, 43rd Exposure, a local veteran-owned conservatory organization, is organizing a river cleanup along different sections of the Boise river and they need extra hands to help out. The event will kick off at 12pm at Payette Brewing where volunteers will meet and break off into groups to head out to pick up trash along the banks and in the river. You don’t have to get in the water, but if you have some waders or galoshes, bring those out just in case.
At about 3pm, volunteers will meet back up at Payette to drop off all the trash into the dump truck they’ll have on-site and take a group photo. Afterward, 43rd Exposure will raffle off some prizes and folks are encouraged to stick around to mingle and grab a drink or two.
The main objective behind this event is to get individuals together who share an appreciation for our outdoors and want to help actively preserve Idaho’s natural and cultural treasures.
