Boise Entrepreneur Week is a high-energy, community-powered, 5-day event in Boise that celebrates and builds Idaho’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. During these 5 days, organizations and entrepreneurs come together to share, challenge, and support each other in building businesses, individual confidence and skills, a deep sense of community, and Idaho’s economy.

Facilitated by the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance, the Military Track Panel is tailored exclusively for military members, veterans and their spouses who are looking to step into the world of entrepreneurship or take their existing businesses to the next level.
Join us for this panel featuring a lineup of distinguished experts who specialize in various facets of entrepreneurship, from business planning and government contracting to cybersecurity and finance. Each panelist brings a wealth of experience and actionable insights to support you in achieving your entrepreneurial goals. Panelists include:
Isaac Belden
Founder & Director of the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance. A military veteran himself, Isaac will facilitate the conversation and discuss the core principles of entrepreneurship and how veterans can leverage their unique skills in the business world.
Irene Gonzalez
Economic Development Specialist with the US Small Business Administration. With 32 years at the SBA, Irene will share invaluable advice on developing a robust entrepreneurial toolkit.
James McCarter
Marine Corps veteran and CEO of Shadowscape, a cybersecurity company. James will delve into the importance of cybersecurity in today's digital age and what veterans need to know to protect their ventures.
Lee Velten
Army veteran and expert with Apex Accelerators (formerly PTAC). Lee, who has been with the organization since 2009, will focus on government contracting and how veterans can secure lucrative opportunities in this space.
Victor Beauchamp
SBA Loan Officer with Idaho Central Credit Union. With 15 years in the finance industry, Victor will demystify the process of SBA lending and explain how veterans can secure the capital they need to succeed.

Military Track Pitch COmpetition
Join us in supporting military members, veterans, and their spouses in the inaugural Military Track Pitch Competition! This event is open to the public and will showcase military-connected individuals as they pitch to earn $5,000 (1st place), $3,000 (2nd place), and $2,000 (3rd place) prizes.
