What is a YouTube Premiere?

YouTube Premieres are a mix between traditional videos and a LIVE stream with a set air time. Like a regular YouTube video, this is pre-recorded. Similar to a LIVE stream, Mission43 plays the video LIVE enabling a chat room for engagement. It’s a way for us to broaden our reach to military veterans and civilian supporters across the state of Idaho and beyond.

Josh Sweeney Military Photo.JPG

Josh Sweeney enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served as an infantryman and a scout sniper. In 2009, while serving in southern Afghanistan, he was severely injured by an IED blast, resulting in the loss of both his legs and causing severe damage to his left arm. His story of overcoming adversity is truly inspiring. After recovering from his injuries, Josh quickly found that involvement in adaptive sporting events would help him heal physically and mentally. He became a highly successful adaptive athlete, Paralympian, and Paralympic Gold Medalist. Josh’s determination, optimism, and resilience are truly remarkable, and his down-to-earth message is clear: “To all the veterans out there just sitting on the couch because of their injuries, get out and do something you used to like to do - if it doesn’t work, find something new.”
