Mission43 and Challenge Athletes Foundation-Idaho (CAF-Idaho) are pleased to host the 43INC Speakers Series, featuring Scotty Smiley. It is an evening filled with storytelling, camaraderie, reflection, and anticipation of great things to come.
Join us for this opportunity to watch alongside military veterans, spouses, and adaptive athletes to connect with one another and learn what it takes to overcome insurmountable odds. This event will also feature our friends from CAF-Idaho. Multiple adaptive athletes from across the state of Idaho will receive more than $10,000 in adaptive sports equipment grants.

MEET OUR GUEST
Scotty Smiley, US Army Major (Retired) is an infantryman, the Army's first active-duty, blind officer, and company commander. He overcame the physical challenges of being blinded with the assistance of his faith and has since become a world-class adaptive athlete. Scotty has surfed in Hawaii, skied in Vail, skydived, climbed Mount Rainier, completed an Ironman triathlon, and graduated from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business with his MBA. The Army Times named Scotty Smiley its Soldier of the Year in 2007, and in 2008 he won an ESPY as the world's Best Outdoor Athlete.
