Support Your Pelvic Floor in Training
Whether you’re lifting weights, chasing kids, training for a race, recovering postpartum, or simply trying to stay active and strong, your pelvic floor and core system play a bigger role than you may realize.
Join Mission43 for Build a Responsive Core: Support Your Pelvic Floor in Training, an educational and interactive workshop led by pelvic floor specialist physical therapist Savannah Hoskyn. This session will explore the foundational concepts of pelvic health and how the body’s “core canister” - including the diaphragm, abdominal muscles, back muscles, and pelvic floor - works together to support strength, stability, breathing, balance, and movement.
Participants will learn how pressure moves through the body during everyday activities and exercise, why core responsiveness matters for long-term health and performance, and how simple adjustments in breath, posture, and bracing can improve strength, reduce strain, and support an active lifestyle.
This workshop is designed to make pelvic health approachable, practical, and relevant for a wide range of participants and fitness levels. The session will conclude with guided movement practice where attendees can try these strategies together and begin building a core system that reacts automatically to the demands of training and daily life.
