10 Years of Mission43: United in Service and Building Strength in Community

This year marks a powerful moment of reflection, remembrance, and renewed commitment to service.

As America marks 250 years of independence, Mission43 is proud to celebrate 10
years of impact, connection, and service across Idaho. This milestone year also
brings the 25th anniversary of September 11, a moment that continues to shape
the lives, service, and purpose of so many within our military-connected
community.

Together, these anniversaries create an important opportunity to honor where we
have been, recognize those who have served and sacrificed, and look ahead to the
responsibility we share in building strong, connected communities for the future.

What began as a vision to support Idaho’s military-connected community has
grown into a powerful statewide network of more than 10,000 veterans, military
spouses, and family members. Over the past decade, Mission43 has helped
members continue to lead, serve, grow, and strengthen their communities
beyond the uniform.

This is more than an anniversary. It is a celebration of the people, programs,
partnerships, and moments that have shaped Mission43’s first 10 years and a look
ahead to the next decade of impact.

A Milestone Year for Service

The 250th anniversary of America is a reminder of the freedoms, responsibilities,
and civic ideals that have shaped our nation. It is also a reminder that service has
always been part of the American story.

For Mission43, this national milestone carries deep meaning. Idaho’s veterans,
military spouses, and military families have lived that commitment to service in
profound ways. Many have worn the uniform. Many have supported those who
served. Many continue to lead in their communities, workplaces, families, and
neighborhoods long after military service has ended.
