THE MISSION43 PMP CERTIFICATION COURSE

March 2024 Boise Cohort Application Window Open Through February 1st 2024.

Mission43 has partnered with Pinnacle Professional Development, LLC to provide a free Project Management Professional Certification course to select Mission43 members. 

Pinnacle Professional Development is a PMI authorized training partner, meaning they have access to exclusive training content from the Project Management Institute. With a veteran team and over 20 years of adult education experience, Pinnacle provides a meaningful classroom experience with the tools and resources needed to successfully earn your PMP certification. 

Selected applicants will receive a scholarship covering the full cost of the in person, 4-day, 35-hour course and one testing voucher, valued at over $3,000.

Courses are hosted Thursday through Sunday and are full days, 8am - 5:45pm. Selected applicants must attend all 4 days to remain eligible for the scholarship. Lunch/snacks/beverages provided. Priority is given to applicants in the *region in which the cohort is hosted. Priority is given to applicants actively seeking employment, transitioning from the military within 6 months, or seeking to promote in their current career field.

*Members in north Idaho or other areas, like the Magic Valley, could be eligible to participate in Boise cohorts in 2024. For more information, reach out via email to education@mission43.org.

The Application Process

MARCH COHORT: March 14th - 17th, 2024

APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 1st, 2024

Applications received after February 1st will not be reviewed until the next cohort window.

  1. Participants MUST be Mission43 members. Join now.

  2. Complete application. This is a highly-competitive process and applicants must be invited to participate in each step following the application. We encourage you to take the time to be thoughtful and thorough with your responses. Ensure that you outline your project experience and clearly identify why the PMP is important to you (beyond earning the certification) and what it can do for your career.

  3. Applications will be reviewed starting February 2, 2024. The review committee will make initial interview selections.

  4. The review committee will approve/select applicants who will be invited to participate in a 30-minute qualitative interview, which must be completed to move forward in the process.

  5. Interview must be scheduled and completed within timeframe provided via email. If an interview is not scheduled/completed, applicants will not be considered to move forward.

  6. Review committee meets again to go over interviews. Applicants selected from pool.

  7. Applicants that interviewed will be notified of their status by mid-February.

  8. Applicants selected to participate in the cohort will be asked to purchase 1-yr (minimum) membership to PMI global and local chapters (~$160). Costs of course, materials, and one exam attempt are covered by Mission43, provided that participants maintain participation eligibility.
